During summer 2010 I worked with photography students from The Manchester College on a new community-wide commission based in Didsbury, south Manchester.

For Didsbury 100 we photographed 100 residents of Didsbury aged 1-100. The resulting montage is now a permanent artwork for the new Sure Start Centre at The Manchester College’s refurbished Fielden Centre.

We also made a poster of the project (below).

The idea behind this multi-generational piece is an acknowledgment that early support in a child’s development produces lifelong benefits.
