The Men’s Room supports men and trans people who sex work, are homeless, or both.

In 2019 they launched an ambitious creative project for their users called ‘What Stops Us from Being Well?’ and I was commissioned to run the visual arts part of the project.

During February and March 2020 I enjoyed running a series of workshops (with artist friend Ian McKay) where we prepared collaborative artworks for an exhibition at HOME. I also made an accompanying booklet.

Sadly Covid got in the way and we ended up launching the show online. Hopefully the exhibition will be shown when things get ‘back to normal’.
